The Barn on Longbeach — Restaurant in England

Got told we should try out the barn on long beach and what can we say about our experience, the staff from the bar to the chef that served us was very nice, very pleasant and very helpful, the food was the best we have had in Hornsea for a long time, we had a choice of beef or pork or both and was melt in your mouth. the veg was fresh and not over powering with different ones you had a choice of Cabbage, carrots and peas and the gravy was better than mine it was made from the juices from the meat. The best thing was you had a choice of large, medium or small plates. The prices are good too for 5 meals and drinks just came to over £40.00 will be going again and tell people on our caravan site in Hornsea, pluse they have a club house where anyone is welcome but sorry not dogs only if...

We frequently eat at The Barn, having previously owned a caravan on the park.

The quantity of choices for Sunday carvery has vastly improved since Karen has been the manager of the bar. There are even multiple choices for vegetarians & fussy eaters like me.

Always a friendly welcome from Karen & her team & great attention to detail. Little Laura & Rob are very efficient & the carvery moves fluently.

We even tried fish & Chip Friday last week too. Under past management, the fish was occasionally stodgy however, in this occasion the batter was perfect.

wanted an alcoholic drink at 5pm along with many other people there who were already drinking...to be told rather curtly by a female "we're shut". I asked her why to be told that they had an event on at 7 and had to set up, serving again at 7.. am i to presume the event was taking place behind the bar? i think not...the place clearly states 12 till 12, and when you have children, going later isnt an option. I heard others complaining too. First time in the new caravan and seriously...
