Unfortunately and Thanks to my (Late) Sisters jealousy of me. Few yrs ago now, A Very important 'Locsl Newspaper was Lost/Stolen! My daughter had found 2 in our Loft. One was extra he Arundel Herald the other. The Storrington Herald. Dated 1888/9 Tissue Thin. The Arundel Gazette was Donated to the Arundel Museum. But I decided to take the Storrington One in Myself. Big Mistake. Bcause the Volunteer Sitting at the Desk./Happened to be a Close School Friend of my Late Sister/if I,f Only I,d known/She Grabbed the Fragile Paper and Dropped it down at her tight hand Side. I Heard it Hit Something Metal. Probably the Rubbish Bin. I remember Saying Hey Watch out it's Very Fragile. She Totally ignored me and Looked Past me to the Person Stood behind and asked Him if She Could help. Thus effectively Terminating Our Short Loading. Then I Didn't know the Museum's Procedure. That I Should have been given a Form to Sign to Transfer Ownership/or Loan agreement. The Museum have Never Found that Paper Which means that my Sister and Friend Stole it. It's Only after Val was diagnosed With Terminal Cancer in Nov 17 that she Admitted her involvement. Why. Who knows. So a Very important Piece of Local History has been lost. That Volunteer Might,Still have it. If So, Do the Right Thing and Hand it in Or Wrap it and put it through my Letter Box. My dogs dogs are Well Trained and Never Touch the Post. So That rather put me Off Donating anything, although after s Burglary when the,Thief Stole my late dad's War/Army Gun Bag and then returned it bcause it's got dad's Regiment details and his,Name Printed on. He returned it. But Sadly Not the accompanying Cartridge, Bag-I,d like That returned Too Please. Mr Philip Moses. If I Can't Keep it Safe,Just maybe the Museum Can. So I,v Trusted them and donated it. Twixt devil and Deep Blue Sea. I know the identity of my Sister's Friend. She,s no longer a,Volunteer and now my Sis has died. Praps my...
