Disappointing. Appears to be suffering from general problem of hospitality sector, - lack of staff. The two youngsters serving were bright and cheerful but struggling with the numbers. It took some time between getting the drinks and being able to order food. Two of us had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad - which came with no avocado!-took a while to get it. Overall it was expensive for what they got, not well put together. I had a bacon and brie sandwich which was very tasty but arrived lukewarm , probably waiting for server to become available. Read moreDespite all that's going on at the moment a slight silver lining is that we now get to discover amazing places on our home turf. The Moon is just one of those places for me.
After a long day hiking through the downs the staff were friendly and charming and the food was fabulous. Seriously who ever the chef is in this place...never let them go. Everything was cooked perfectly, great quality ingredients and great portions.
Rest assured with the more local holidays we've all been taking I am most certainly returning to New Moon when I'm back in Storrington again to try more...
