I went to walk the dogs whilst the Mrs went to the dentist. A lot of parks nowadays suffer from neglect, lack of investment and vandalism. Mercer park bucks the trend. I enjoyed the well tended lawns and separate garden areas. The bowling green looked smart, there was little litter and plenty of things for children and a skate park. The impressive house in the park hasnt any signs up saying what it is or why it's there and I wonder if it's even used. Would make a good tea shop I reckon.
