The Albion — Restaurant in Hyndburn

We arrived here after a very wet cycle ride from Chorley, along the Leeds - Liverpool Canal. We were looking for shelter from the rain, the doors opened at 12 lunch & the friendly bar guy invited us in. He kindly offered to make us both a hot cup of coffee, and we enjoyed a brew & and a game of drafts while we tried to dry our soaking socks & gloves on the radiator. I'm not sure if they had turned the radiator on in the corner we had sat, especially for us to have a warm & dry. As afterwards, we did think it was odd that they had the heating on jn July. Discovered the Albion while in Accrington for some work this week. Lovely local pub with both friendly locals and staff. My only gripe is they didn't have any Jamesons behind the bar but otherwise no complaints and thr atmosphere made up for it. I have only given the zero stars for the food because they didn't have any so I sadly couldnt review it. If I lived closer I suspect this would quickly...

Vastly improved from my last visit, much more open plan with more seats. Decent prices, not sure about the quality of the football on TV though? We got stung with the Guinness offer, which was advertised everywhere all around the pub but actually in the small print hadn't started yet. Would definitely visit...
