This is an iconic building in a historic location. The archway is Grade 1 listed and is the remaining structure of the east gate of Langport. It houses a room which has been used as a church, an armory, a Sunday school, and now a Masonic hall and although not open to the public all the time, visits can be arranged and occasionally an open day is advertised.
