Over £120 of wasted money. What was supposed to be a lovely birthday meal out but due to the food we received and attitude of the owner let it down. We ordered 5 meals one of which was edible the others tasted so sweet that we thought we were eating bags of sugar. Mentioned to the waiter and he said we could order 1 item to replace it with something else so we ordered the same meal that was edible out of 5. At the end we approached the lady at the front desk and explained and she was more than happy to not charge us for the meals that we couldn’t eat but then her dad (the boss and chef) came out shouting and putting his face right up to ours saying he will not refund us as he’s never had this complaint before but yet looking on the reviews there are quite a few of them! After a lot of arguing and shouting he agreed to replace our inedible meals for takeaways because of course no refunds! The only star I’d give this place is for the young girl on reception who was very apologetic and friendly towards us, perhaps her dad needs to learn something from her especially that it is not acceptable to speak to people in the manor...
Read moreHadn't been here in a several years, and HOOO BOY--- if you live in the area, please please do pay Cardamom a visit. Just stunning food-- truly delicious, freshly prepared curries, excellent naans, extremely reasonable prices, and really lovely service: the staff are friendly, professional, and know the menu back to front.
