Lovely peaceful walking ....great children's play area . .and of course a wonderful time to be had by friendly dogs๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ Just a warning though if you're dogs not happy being bound up to by other dogs, or slightly nervous, then it may not be the place to go๐Ÿ˜‰...there were loads of dogs all breeds and sizes but not one of them on a lead!! Amazingly they seemed to get on for the most part๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‰...but I'd be amazed if that was always the case๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

My dog's favourite place on earth! There's a large field to walk around and play fetch on, with plenty of room around other dog walkers. There are loads of trees which provide shelter in the rain, and shade when the sun is blaring. There's also a lovely woodland next to the field, and a lovely longer circular public footpath on the outskirts of the park, which provides some stunning views of the surrounding farms.

Excellent little dog walking spot. Nice local flora. Only drawback was a slightly small area so a limited route to walk. Plenty of grassland for open tennis ball play though. Nice little haven in the metropolis of Leeds and its suburbs. Also is the site for Leeds Council Parks Department.

Love coming here. My little lad loves the park. Unfortunately you get a few idiots that let the place down with their anti social behaviour and hanging around the kids park at night drinking alcohol and leaving their empty tins and half drunk ones near the climbing frames and swings and wherever they drop them but they FAIL to notice these trash cans to put their rubbish in out of sight and my 22 month old boy goes running round picking up whatever he can get in his hands IT'S NOT ON YOU HALF WITS find somewhere else to hang out KIDDIES PARKS ARE NOT THE PLACE. On another note LCC waste collections aren't there regularly and the park doesn't really get a decent clean up (remember teeny tiny toddlers play in this park) as there's rubbish on the floor around the bins as the bags aren't fitted properly so yer know nobody cares and just chucks their rubbish on the floor!!!!! After the fire last year a some of the equipment has been replaced but what would be good to see for the little ones is a climbing frame like what's at pudsey park. All in all we had a good day...

Beautiful grounds and lovely old building. The park is a really good size to explore with children and dogs. It's really popular with dog walkers. Many dogs are off the lead, so maybe not suitable for those whose dogs are reactive.

There is a play park for the children to burn off some energy next to the good-sized car park.

The flowers and bushes in the gardens are kept beautiful, and there is lots of open grass space to enjoy a picnic in summer and a run around with a ball.

There's also a good walk in the mini forest if you want that bit of shade from the sun or shelter from...

One star convenience 2 stars access to long walks. Perimeter walks & leads to Anywhere around Farnley Gildersome and even Halifax If you like to really Walk. Like we do. But also If you wish to just stand around and natter with the local Dog Waggers give it a go. I am Whitehall Farnley Born & Bred so this Park has been hit and miss for me for almost 50 years. My fur baby loves the woods and you can have a pretty decent walk down into Posthill nature reserve and up into Pudsey and so on. Sykes woods is another link If you walk around...
