On the 26/06/25 about 12:30 I asked one of the male staff to show me how thier self service order machine works after struggling to use it. This male staff was very very rude , he told me me right in front of every customer who were waiting in the queue that l should know by now how the machine works since its all over other restaurants such as Macdonals and across the UK. I ask him to just show me so that next time l would know and he just looked at me and turned his back. It was up until other Female staff called "Michelle" offered to help and showed me how the self service machine works. Michelle was very professional with Customer care attitude and really made feel worthy a respected customer. This other male needs further training to approach customers .l think he is too judgemental and looks at customers physical appearance and does not have respect to customer. The question is : What if l had some level of disability? What if l had never seen these machines before?
After l bought my food l asked to talk to him privately about his appalling attitude but he asked me to talk about what l wanted to say right there in front of everyone..maybe just to make me feel embarrassed.

Read moreTerrible experience here today because of the attitude of a particular staff member. The staff member stood out as the only one wearing a green T-shirt rather than a polo. He had his phone on the counter and was texting whilst wearing his food preparing gloves. My order went through on the kiosk and before he started to make my food I politely requested he changed his gloves as I’d just seen him using his phone. He immediately got aggressive and raised his voice telling me the gloves had been just changed, I accepted this but informed him I’d just seen him using his phone. A bloke not in uniform appeared behind the counter and tried to get the aggressor to leave the situation, yet continued to stand there giving evil eye and refusing to move or make my food. They then proceeded to talk in a language I don’t understand which adds further to the disappointment of poor service and unprofessionalism. Complaint will be sent to head office. There are much nicer staff at other subways so avoid this...

Just tried calling them after making the order to remind and ensure everything is ok. Called 3 times being completely ignored before the phone finally got picked up, and when it did, the member of staff was incredibly rude trying to put the phone down and get rid of me ASAP, hung up on me. This was at 9PM btw so it wasn’t because they were busy.
