It's a beautiful beach. Stony though so wouldn't recommend going in just like that because it literally hurts when you walk back or even stand in water after a while. Keep your stuff close and your footwear closer. There are a few colorful huts nearby. Some of them are also shops and some are probably up for rent. I guess u have a washroom also around but I personally did not use it so I don't know if it still works or it's just some signs. Good for sunbathing and hanging out in general. Beautiful views and breathtaking scenery. It's also the start of the hike from seaford to seven sisters.
You do have some hotels near by and a few places off road from beach with market and cafes and restaurants and eateries and pharmacy and etc etc shops.
People do swim a bit there but dint see a lot of people in the water.
Just 2-4min walk from train station. So one doesn't need to walk a lot to get a good view of the sea. Water is clean and beautiful. Please do carry your sunscreen and bathing suit. If you're going for the hike, I would suggest to start sooner when you have time so we get to rest on your way up the hike at intervals and click some amazing pictures while you are at it.
Have a good day and enjoy your trip...
Read moreIf youâre looking for a peaceful and unspoiled beach, Seaford is an absolute dream. This quiet stretch of coastline is my favorite place to beâserene, beautiful, and free from crowds. Itâs the perfect spot to swim, paddleboard, or simply relax and take in the stunning surroundings.
One of the best things about this beach? The well-behaved seagulls! Unlike many other seaside spots, you wonât find them swooping in for your food, making it an even more enjoyable place to unwind.
The location is also a great starting point for scenic walks, whether youâre exploring coastal trails or heading into the lovely nearby town with its small selection of charming local restaurants. Thereâs a laid-back, welcoming feel to the area, making it ideal for a quiet getaway.
For convenience, there are toilets and refreshments available right at the beach, so you can spend the whole day here without a worry. Whether youâre after adventure or just a moment of peace by the sea, Seaford is the...
Read moreThis is our home beach and we love it. It is one huge stretch of stony beach with just two small cafe huts situated one at the Splash point end near the Martello tower and one in the middle near Dane road. It has no large concessionary food servers which makes it really special. It has that old world feel of the 1950s. Plenty of free parking and free toilets (near the Martello Towers). The beach is loved by the locals like us and is a great place for a long walk on a flat surface (the promenade is concrete) with rest benches all along the way. At the Splash Point end there's a great view of the iconic white cliffs. At the Newhaven end you can see the ferry chugging off and coming back from France. The council have just installed some new brightly painted beach huts which you can rent for a daily or weekly rate. Our lovely beach is well...
