One of our favourite walks in the area, always started off after lunch at the the Aqua Bar on Llanbedrog beach, or finished off by food at the Glyn y Weddw Arms in Llanbedrog. It can be quite tricky at the moment (July 2025) as several trees have fallen on the steep steps leading up to the summit, so you definitely need some level of agility and fitness, my children wife and little dog managed to navigate the obstruction without too much trouble though. Once on the top there are beautiful panoramic views of the coast and mountains in the distance, we tend to walk all the way around the headlands to the other side and head back towards Abersoch down some steep steps on the opposite side to Llanbedrog. Always clears the cobwebs away.

Walking The Wales Coast we came upon this sculpture? made from wire. It did not do anything for me! If you want to find this sculpture you will need to be very fit as the path to it is very steep and rough. The sculpture is positioned at the top of a hill, overlooking Llanbedrog. There is a sheer drop near The Tin Man and my wife noticed some cut flowers placed near the cliff edge. So not a suitable place to bring young children or vulnerable adults.

Amazing walk to see the tin man sculpture and around the headland. The steps from the beach are really steep and there are alot of them, so not for the faint hearted. You can access from another path, avoiding the steps from the village but there is still alot of uphill. The views from.the top are amazing.

Phew! A really brilliant monument on top of a hill with an excellent viewpoint looking all over the coastline! Unfortunately it's been replaced three times due to vandalism and rusting but it worth it nonetheless. The only problem is that...the climb up too the top is a killer. It's on a very high incline with steep steps, not for people that struggle with stairs. There is another way however which is slightly easier from the arts and craft center. Overall it's a fantastic monument,...
