One of our favourite walks in the area, always started off after lunch at the the Aqua Bar on Llanbedrog beach, or finished off by food at the Glyn y Weddw Arms in Llanbedrog. It can be quite tricky at the moment (July 2025) as several trees have fallen on the steep steps leading up to the summit, so you definitely need some level of agility and fitness, my children wife and little dog managed to navigate the obstruction without too much trouble though. Once on the top there are beautiful panoramic views of the coast and mountains in the distance, we tend to walk all the way around the headlands to the other side and head back towards Abersoch down some steep steps on the opposite side to Llanbedrog. Read morePhew! A really brilliant monument on top of a hill with an excellent viewpoint looking all over the coastline! Unfortunately it's been replaced three times due to vandalism and rusting but it worth it nonetheless. The only problem is that...the climb up too the top is a killer. It's on a very high incline with steep steps, not for people that struggle with stairs. There is another way however which is slightly easier from the arts and craft center. If you want to find this sculpture you will need to be very fit as the path to it is very steep and rough. The sculpture is positioned at the top of a hill, overlooking Llanbedrog.
