I visit this pub often from April to September and maybe once or twice during the winter.

I’ve seen the pub change a lot over the years and a lot of money be invested in it which has massively improved both the inside and outside

Outside there is a large seating area with overhead heaters and canopies. There is also a very popular play area. Dogs are welcome in the outside area here and there’s always a bowl of water available for them.

There are 2 car parks but only one disabled space which is parked in by anyone. Other parking available in the road at the side of the pub.

Good toilet facilities for all including Disabled.

Martin has run this pub for many years and the staff are friendly.

The menu has a good choice with a Carvery a couple of times a week definitely during the peak season. There’s also a children menu. Sometimes I find the menu a bit basic eg if you have curry you won’t get a poppadom or naan bread or even mango chutney and the food is a little over priced. However it’s only really busy in the summer months and they say there is more competition in the area now??

Very popular and a lovely atmosphere long...

Was greeted by a very rude front of house(female with short blonde hair) I ordered a cheese burger with a side of mozzarella sticks, the cheese burger cost £17 and was something I’d have expected from a butty van on the side of the road for a fiver. It was cheap meat(if that’s what you could call it) greasy, the cheese was plastic cheese slices and the onion rings that came with it were soggy, mushy and clearly just the cheap frozen ones. the mozzarella sticks were £8 and I got 4 small sticks of hard mozzarella and a small salad which was just cucumber and lettuce. if the food was cheaper I wouldn’t have minded but with the decent reviews and nice location we all expected a lot better, was a good atmosphere but now has me thinking it’s only because there’s not much else around so people don’t have much choice. way to overpriced for what they serve and all the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there and had zero customer service whatsoever, real shame as I had high hopes for it before we got there. I would have tried to speak to someone but the plates just got dumped on the table and no one bothered to ask how...

Decent enough pub a short walk up (as in uphill) from the beach.

There's a car park, but access is tight so only suitable for cars.

Most of the seating is under a wooden canopy. There are patio heaters for the evenings. Some seating by the play area. Dog friendly with water bowls outside.

Food is standard pub / Brakes Brothers food. Reasonably well prepared but nothing special. Don't expect much by way of vegetables unless you have the carvery.

It's very expensive though, £5.50 a pint of lager and £4 a pint of soft drink. London prices in North Wales. The garlic bread someone else mentions is £5.50 for a mass produced parbaked baguette, garlic butter and some cheese that would cost about 50p to make and like all the food it's adequate but nothing special.

They have an unusual ordering system; food orders at a booth in the left of the pub, drinks at the bar. Whilst it keeps the drinks queue moving it is annoying to have to queue twice and means you have staff standing around idle whilst customers...

We stopped off here for a family feed and a pint. I rung in advance and they could accommodate gluten free (coeliac) on certain dishes so I thank them for that as options are limited for us and our son. Little kids area out back is OK, not bad or particularly good so.. good enough. Unfortunately, the food quality is very poor. It came out minutes after ordering, obviously pre made stuff kept heated in the kitchen. The pizza is electric oven stuff, probably from frozen as you can see and burned on half the base. Kids didn't finish the food and it wasn't particularly cheap not that that's the main point here. Chips have cheap sugary sauce drenched over them. It's like 3am kebab house quality stuff at x3 pub prices, not good enough. Fine to stop by for a pint I'd say but don't go for food

This pub was absolutely fantastic! During our stay in beautiful Llanbedrog, we enjoyed three delicious Sunday carvery roasts, each one just as good as the last. Being small eaters, we appreciated the option to have a smaller plate for the Sunday Roasts. We also popped in most days for a drink and often for lunch, and every visit was a pleasure. The staff were always friendly, polite, and welcoming, and the service was consistently excellent. A wonderful spot with great food and atmosphere….highly recommend!

While on holiday last week (middle of August/summer holidays), we ate at Glyn Y Weddw three times. The kids had a great time on the play area and we were able to get a table right by the play area, so we could keep an eye on the little one. The pub was obviously very busy at this time of year, so we were advised that our food would take 45-60 minutes, which was fine by us and the food was good. Definitely recommend this place for people holidaying in the area. Short walk to the beach afterwards too.
