The beach spans out miles and miles on the coast line, mostly sandy beach but some areas have a little bit more rocky surfaces too. The beach is easy accessible with wheelchairs and mobility scooters on the wide pavement, with plenty benches. In most areas swimming is not allowed, but also I must mention, it is quiet difficult to adjust to the hide tide, which could enable visitors to have their foot dipped in it. The beach has no birds, which is a major sign of low waters and low to no wildlife around here. It is still a relaxin place, but apart from St. Elli's Bay there are no places to buy drinks, icecream, food, or use toilets when needed.

Fantastic place for a walk along the beach promenade, especially if you are in a wheelchair or taking a bike. Lovely beach and good quality restaurant to enjoy a coffee.

We stayed in an apartment overlooking the beach here it isn't a beach you can swim in but you can have a paddle when the sea is in. It has picturesque views out to burry port. You can watch the trains come and go alongside the costal path and watch them go under the tunnel. A short walk round to Sandy water park there is a brewers fayre pub called the Sandpiper which overlooks the lake with lots of Swans on it. Negatives there is fair amount of rubbish on the beach however it's nothing in comparison to the town and people have had bonfires further up the beach within the sand dunes.

Plenty of disabled parking, large car park pay by card or cash at machine (need you vehicle registration number ). Dog friendly beach all year round. This is not a swimmung beach, ok for bucket and spades, a nice beach to walk along with splendid views accross the estury looking at whitford light house and the North Gower to the left, Burry Port and Pembrey to the right. kite surfing on beach and sea, there is paddle boarding in nearby Noth Dock and an excellent large play area by car park for toddlers to age 10. There are dunes to walk amoungst too. The Millenium costal path goes from here to Burry Port and beyond with plenty to see along the route. There is an ice cream kiosk that also sells can n coffe its not cheap £1.70 for a can diet coke. There isca dog friendly restaurant st Ellis Bay, recommended ,prices again not cheap but its comfortable, has a good selection of...

Pleasant enough, great views, reasonable car parking (not a rip off like Swansea charges), cleaned of litter regularly, cold shower available to wash off the sand, ice creams, coffee and other food. The cycle path goes along this as a really good (easy, wide track) ride from the Loughor bridge to Pembrey via Burry Port. The only catch is that Carmarthenshire have a 'welcome dog' policy which can be very dangerous with some selfish owners with large dogs which cannot be easily controlled. This is a disaster waiting to happen near small children and those less stable on their feet, and damages what is otherwise a great...
