Brimmington Park — Attraction in London

Used for football training, the pitches consist of a sand based 2G pitch and unfortunately now a concrete based pitch as the Astro turf was ripped up a couple of years ago and never replaced. The goal nets have been torn to pieces and are in desperate need of changing, however, I suspect if they are changed they may be damaged soon after. This is a great place that young people go to play tennis. Young people are kept busy doing what they love most....playing tennis. The atmosphere is fantastic. Also, the graffiti artists go there to express their artistic talent. I took images of some great art, and some of the graffiti images have a story to tell. It's overwhelming and the place is peaceful. Oh yeah, also family oriented. I have seen parents take their children there for a run etc.. Great...

Had a memorial Balloon release in the park. Wonderful play area and table tennis tables and various Courts at the top of the park Kids loved it!!!! Just like we did as kids even when it wasn't so modernised. Brought back loads of memories of how lucky we were to have lived there for 17 years 34 years ago.
