Manchester has their Concorde G-BOAC stored in a hangar as of the last 10 years and thats the way these things should be stored. I got the privilege of seeing BOAB at Heathrow last week (and got told off for not doing it legitimately, just went into the staff car park to see it) and its very nice to see one out in the open but at the same time its being left to rot!! Needs a hanger building.

This photo is taken on Myrtle Avenue. this Concorde is a vivid reminder that even a record can be reduced to a mere useless museum piece. The Concorde was once the pinnacle of technology, a supersonic jet that fulfilled the dream of speed. Now it stands here, a remarkable monument to a magnificent era, reminding us that nothing stays on top forever. It's a good lesson for us all.

A lot to see. You need at least 5 hrs to visit each part of the museum. Paid extra for the Concorde experience which was the main reason for the visit. Overall good value for money. Huge carpark. Toilets available. Souvenir shop ok. Cafe serves hot food only until 1430 then you have very limited choices. Therefore 1 star down.

Ever time I fly out of LHR I look for this amazing and beautiful Concorde. The most watched aircraft or anything else for that matter. The aircraft looking like the next century but flew in the last. Truly sensational. Fred Finn Worlds Most Travelled Person 15 million miles and 718 flights in Concorde Guinness World Records. So happy to have been apart of Concorde from the beginning to the end of such a wonderful...
