There is much open space to explore and makes for a nice stroll on a lazy afternoon. It is perfect for cycling, routes extend to many surrounding areas and are sign posted.
There is a nearby station, Enfield Lock railway which have good links into Central London, the City, Cambridge, Bishops Stortford and Cambridge. The 121 and 491 buses pass through.

These have all been lovingly restored for prosperity. The lock itself is of course under the management of the Canal Trust....who do an amazing job of looking after so much of these beautiful inland waterways.
