Considering its position, right next to the main London bound road, it somehow manages to maintain a "corner of tranquility" title. As you enter you become shielded from the noise and bustle and are free to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's well maintained, both by council gardening teams and local volunteers. A variety of shrubs surrounding a large green area, flower beds, pathways crossing the park and adequate if not plentiful benches if you just want to sit and relax. A children's play area and a new exercise unit offer plenty of opportunity to keep fit. So if you want to jog, stroll, go for a family picnic or just sit and relax an ideal little corner of Barking to do it in.

It is one best parks in the barking and dagenham council having the facilities of workout. There is a tennis court to book also but some people play football rather than which is disgusting. It has a children corner with slides and fun staff. The park has few tracks of running and jogging and few trees. A good place for picnics in the summer. But I expect more responsible behavior from the visitors to keep it clean and safe for all.

It is a small/medium park with great play area, benches for resting, beautiful gardens and gorgeous trees, especially now in spring. The only reason they lost a star is because the toilets are closed and no one can access them. Otherwise, it is the perfect place for playing, walking, exercising and spending the afternoon for a picnic. There are so many areas in this park, that they cater for everyone!!

This is one of the biggest parks in the borough. (The borough being Barking AND Dagenham). This park is located between Longbridge Road, Barking and Lodge Avenue, Dagenham. And is only a short walk from Upney Lane District line railway. I don't know if there are any public toilets in this park. I've never seen any in all the years I've been going there with my dogs. There are a couple of little play areas for the little ones. Plenty of room to kick a ball about. Good dog-walking park. It has 2 lakes and a small wooded area over to one side, by the rail line. But you can feel a little isolated there, if you are on on own. And there is a car park over by Lodge Ave. And a pub, The Round House. There is no cafe...
