The Chubby Friar — Restaurant in London

My son went down and popped in to get fish, mushy peas, battered sausages and a large portion of chips. Chips tasted like pre-covid potatoes, the chef coated them in watered down vinegar which didn't even have a smell. Battered Sausage was full of lumps and muscle, mushy peas were the only slightly edible food, and that was after microwaving them. Threw it in the bin and now really disappointed and annoyed over the quality of this food. Its disgraceful. Paid over 25 quid for now-binned food. If I could walk, I'd be at the shop complaining. We came here to the Chubby Friar to get a chicken burger and chips with a drink. The shop is clean and food smells nice. The man who served me was pleasant and the food pricing is decent. The food was served quickly and the food itself is good. Chips are crunchy and not too soggy, burger not too greasy and a cold drink to serve....
