Doesnt even deserve one star... as we couldn't even access the place!! But doesn't allow me to post without giving them any stars 🤷♀️
Attempted to go there today with my son who's wheelchair bound, thought to give him a different adventure compare to a normal daily therapy session. Well that turned into a trip from HELL!! Firstly the parking area wasn't accessible for a wheelchair users (rocky road).
We have a electric wheelchair which is normally great for any kind of surfaces, but this obviously wasn't and every time we pressed accelerate the wheels of the chair kept getting in deeper. Two young boys who work there just watched us three young ladies struggling to shift my sons chair..... I don't know who or what they were doing to try calling for someone.
A very old man who must have been in his 80's saw us struggling and offered to give us a helping hand. We must have struggled for about 15-20mins at this point to move the wheelchair even the slightest to be out of the way of the carpark entrance, until 2 men who kindly came from the yard behind and a customer passing by offered to help. It took nearly 6 of us to lift the wheelchair weighing nearly 250kg(with my son) out of this stoney pathway.
The two boys working there had just disappeared at this point and one young lady who works there was so apologetic and so sorry about this experience. She took my details to give to the manager to get a call back. (Don't know when this will happen)
BUT....... Unfortunately we won't be coming back as my first experience was the worst nightmare and definitely will...
Read moreThis is an absolutely beautiful little golf course with numerous life sized dinosaurs and rivers and lakes all around - clearly much time and money have been spent on this place.
Unfortunately the holes themselves aren’t very well designed or very creative. The astroturf isn’t well laid and so has ripples in it and most of the holes are up an incline - and this means the course is very unforgiving; miss the hole and you end up meters away - and that makes it frustrating for kids. There are also loads of leaves over the course (in spring) - I suggest getting out there with a leaf blower occasionally.
There are some sneaky paths the ball can take, but they often don’t give any advantage - compare that to TopGollf mini golf where getting your ball in those almost guarantees a hole-in-one.
The prices are pretty steep and I don’t think that’s my subjective view given the place was entirely empty - I’d suggest a weekday special to get the kids in after school.
The car park has disabled spaces but it’s entirely gravel and so it’s not accessible. Whilst this didn’t affect us, I’m pointing it out for others.
And perhaps not a concern for many - and not the places fault - but this is in the ULEZ adding cost for those without a newer car. So it’s an expensive hour.
I’m not convinced I’d go back and likely stick with TopGolf Watford. But a nice novelty...
Read moreI went with my family , it was quite fun , I went at at time where there were not too many people already booked ) you can choose a time slot ) I don’t understand Those complaining about the pricing structure. The price you pay is ‘up to’ . It’s the same price for four people then it is three, if this is such a problem then bring along an extra person with you 🙄 The Dino statues were huge , and quite good for photos 18 courses I found it a little long but the kids liked it The gift shop was cheap and they sell slush. I do recommend bringing your own water though and maybe a sun umbrellas as it was hot and there isn’t any shade. Plenty free parking too . Someone below complained about the gravel in the car park . People would complain about anything. The staff were really friendly . It was a bit far to travel from south west London so probably wouldn’t go again but if you live close by...
