A good open green space in the heart of North Kingston. The best addition to the recreation ground in the last 12 months is the revitalised cafe. After a somewhat unsteady start from the old owners behind Canbury Secret the cafe is now run by the nicest crew of people, and one things for sure, they are consistent, open at 8am every day come rain or shine, they were even open on Boxing Day! Plenty of community events throughout the year. The path around the entire park is perfect for wetter days. If you are a dog owner I'd avoid 8:30-9:00am during term time as it can be very busy with school traffic and also Saturday mornings during football season.

Good park and playground which gets busy during school start or end times. But otherwise ample space to enjoy the greenery and open air. There is a cafe and toilet which is a great plus for people wanting to relax. Lots of dog owners come for a good stroll with their lovely companions. Overall a very good place to spend your time and you won't be disappointed

One of my three children's favourite playgrounds and community park. It is dog friendly. My 18 months Labrador, Teddy, has a few nice friends to play with. Lovely cafe, with kids friendly drinks as well. The picnic area is very convenient and well maintained. There is a natural zone with a small pond at north corner where you can relax and enjoy.

A pleasant urban green space with a recently refurbished children's play area. Favoured by local dog walkers and a site for a number of community lead events throughout the year. Featuring a small coffee and cake shop near the playground and a brand new pond dug during lockdown and just starting to establish itself as an attraction for more varied wildlife. Junior football played throughout the season...

Nice playground. The park is often ruined by irresponsible and inconsiderate dog owners letting their dogs off the lead and completely unable to control them. Kids are often frightened here by dogs running up to them or dogs fighting each other close by or dogs destroying footballs. Many dog owners are responsible but it only takes a few idiots to ruin it. Lots of those idiots frequent this park...
