I loved this park before it was redeveloped. Of course all parks should to a certain extent be child friendly, but in this case they have overdone it, and anyone in the borough over the age of twelve is pretty much not catered for here. Much of the current space is taken up by areas devoted to children's activities. Certainly a no-go area in the school holidays if you are considering going there for a quiet walk. Read moreI visited this building, the home of William Morris, as I love the wallpapers he created together with his friends. He was part of the Arts and Crafts movement. A very interesting museum with buttons to press and hands on exhibits. Suitable for all ages.
