After checking reviews it seems the situation regarding toilets has yet to improve after a year. Toilets are in a terrible state. Left completely unchecked for a day and a half. I was at the park on Saturday May 10th and as you can see from the pictures the toilets weren't checked the whole of Friday afternoon or the Saturday until 1530 when I took this picture. The council needs to take joint responsibility for this issue, alongside the company that has the cafe. Clearly the issue hasn't improved. It's really shameful that the council has spent so much money on the playground but hasn't bothered to prioritise the toilet facilities despite the increased number of park users the larger scale playground will bring. Generally the food is ok. There needs to be some healthier options for kids available snack wise. There are child seats available but staff don't take the time to clean them. The last time my mother in law took my little one there, she was given a cloth and spray to clean the seat herself when she asked for the high chair to be cleaned for use. Its time for the council to reconsider the tender and manage the situation better

This cafe needs to close or change owners. Absolute disdain for visitors in everything: always a long wait for food, unfriendly staff, dirty! terribly dirty, the toilets are disgusting, there is no toilet paper anywhere and they don’t care so much that it is not replenished either the next day or the next, no one has swept there for a long time, mud is just in every crevice, the tables from the outside are as if on them someone vomited, the prices are very high for such a dirty cafe in such an area, the. A small scoop of ice cream £3.50 and I threw it away because it was melted and weathered. It's just disrespect to visitors, to people. I don't know how you can treat your visitors like that. And how pleasant it is for them to work there.

This cafe could be so much better if it wasn’t used as a storage facility for broken catering machines that take up half the space. People want to sit! The food options have improved recently but they could halve the ice cream and slush puppy options, create more seating and a welcoming atmosphere. I got a blank look when I asked where the recycling bin was, not sure they’re separating recyclable waste. The toilets are really grim… will be interesting to see if the council extends their contract.

I recently used the catering and room hire services at Le Delice which were fantastic. Le Delice in the park have a room for hire available behind their cafe in Lloyds Park, I hired this room for a kids birthday party. It is very reasonably priced when compared to other venues in Walthamstow. It’s also smack bang in the middle of the park next to the sandpit, slides and swings which is a great location for kids birthdays. We decided to go ahead with their catering service as it was convenient given the cafe is right next door and we requested a lot of hot food. The food was brilliant and we had so many compliments from guests. Sousou was our contact at Le Delice and made sure everything was as we wanted and was also present on the day to ensure everything went smoothly. I’d highly recommend you check out their catering menu for an upcoming function you may have! I’ll definitely be...
