Review: The Best Pilates Studios in West London ā Rima and Renata Are Exceptional!
Iāve been attending Pilates classes with Rima and Renata for a while now, and I can confidently say they offer the best Pilates experience in West London. They have two studios: one in Boston Manor and a brand-new, beautifully designed space in Kew. Both studios are immaculate, welcoming, and perfectly equipped for an exceptional Pilates practice.
What sets Rima, Renata, and their team apart is their unparalleled expertise and professionalism. Every teacher is knowledgeable, approachable, and truly passionate about helping clients improve their strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. Whether youāre a beginner or advanced, they tailor sessions to suit your needs, making every class feel personal and effective.
Despite the high level of expertise and care they provide, the classes are surprisingly affordable. Itās clear they value their clients and are committed to making Pilates accessible without compromising on quality.
Itās no surprise that the studios are busy ā the word is out that Rima and Renata are the best! I always leave each session feeling stronger, more energized, and inspired. If youāre looking for Pilates in West London, look no further. You wonāt find better instruction, more welcoming spaces, or a more dedicated team...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile I appreciate the welcoming environment of the studios, Iāve found the quality of instruction to be lacking in some important areas. Several of the teachers appear to be relatively newish and, unfortunately, this inexperience showsāparticularly in their limited ability to offer posture correction, exercise modifications, or guidance for those dealing with injuries.
One of the primary reasons people choose in-person Pilates is to receive real-time feedback and adjustments to ensure safe, effective movement. When instructors donāt correct form or offer alternative options, it not only limits the benefit of the class but can also pose a risk for injury, especially for those recovering from physical issues or managing ongoing conditions.
Additionally, there seems to be a lack of knowledge around rehabilitation and how to support clients with injuries. This is an essential skill for any Pilates professional, and its absence is noticeable.
Overall, without more experienced guidance & injury awareness, the classes currently feel more like Pilates gym session. Iād encourage Rima and Renata to invest in more training and mentorship for its instructors to ensure a higher, safer standard...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSocial media really does a poor job of highlighting the benefits of Pilates for injury rehabilitation! I associated reformer Pilates with annoying influencer types but thankfully it's not like that - at least not here!
Since I've started attending reformer Pilates classes here my back/SI joint pain has got so much better. I've been told for years that I needed to strengthen my core but clearly what I was told to do (bird dog and bridges) was ineffective or I just wasn't doing it properly, because there was no improvement after 7 years. Going to Pilates classes allows me to get my form checked and fixed and allows me to really work my deep core muscles and stabilisers.
I have enjoyed classes with Amy the most - she is very knowledgeable when it comes to modifying exercises based on injuries and she also has a great personality. She reminds me of a school teacher - excellent instruction and energy. I have also enjoyed classes with Ami in Kew Bridge.
Edited to add: I've now tried 3 different Pilates studios (trying to find somewhere closer to Harrow) and LondonPilates4u is by far the best. I enjoy the routines here the most and I also enjoy the ambience...
