Riverside Park — Attraction in Maldon

We found this picnic area by luck. Our grandchildren wanted to find a playground, and its carpark had a path leading from it. There was a sign showing there was a picnic area up this path. The park was over looking the river Crouch and had a number of picnic tables. There was plenty of room for the children to run around. Also from the carpark were a number of large playgrounds and a skate park catering for all ages. Clean toilets were also available. There was no charge for the carpark, well done...

First time going here. We parked by the Yacht club (free) and walked across this park along into town. This is a nice sized open space with plenty of opportunity to have picnics / bbqs and kids & dogs playing. Seriously impressive! Awesome features for all ages: skateboarding ramps, zip wires, swings etc. Smartly divided for all age groups. Nearby yacht and boat scene? Breathtaking.
