This was my first visit here and 3 of us had breakfast. There's some indoor and outdoor seating available. The inside is quirky, clean and interestingly decorated. The breakfasts were great, I had a Benedict Cumberstack at just under ÂŁ11. My wife and daughter had a full English and a vegetarian full English. The Benedict Cumberstack was a very interesting, tasty variation to a full English and was more than enough for me. The English breakfasts were also enjoyed. Staff were friendly and attentive and it's a nice location to have a stroll along the river before or after. The menu contains the usual sort of breakfast/lunches you'd expect along with a few different dishes. It's well worth a visit, we'll go back again.

Had a full English which was tasty. Staff friendly. Only bad point was the extremely slow service, even though it wasn’t all that busy. They decided to close the kitchen halfway through a service which left half of our group unable to order for nearly 45 minutes. The staff said that this was because the kitchen needed time to “catch up”, but it wasn’t even at full capacity. I’d suggest reducing tables outside if the kitchen is unable to keep up with it as it is - it’ll avoid disappointment for your patrons. Can’t fault the food, and although clearly stressed, the staff were truly very polite and helpful.

I have been coming to the Cabin Dairy for many many years. But honesty, since the management changed hands recently. We've all seen a massive change for the better. The staff are amazing, friendly and fun. The food and new menu is great and they have done wonders with the inside now also. Also they tolerate us bikers being cheeky. đŸ€”đŸ€Ł Definitely recommend coming here now. 👌

I’ve been coming here for years with biker mates. Today, as I was in the area, I decided to bring the family for a late lunch. Service was awful. My partners breakfast was brought out on a stone cold plate so became cold within a few minutes of it being served. My daughter didn’t get a choice of what was on top of the waffle. It was initially brought out without anything and then later topped with an ice cream but we weren’t offered a choice of flavour. And for my breakfast, after I dared to ask where my toast was after I’d already eaten half of my full English, I was met with a rude waitress saying she was too busy to have brought it out. Given the fact that it wasn’t that busy inside, I imagine it more like she’d forgotten. By the time the toast arrived, the breakfast had been finished, plates stacked and then the toast was thrown down on the table without so much as an apology for being about 40 mins since the order was placed.

To top it off, when the polite young lady on the till asked how breakfast was, we said ‘disappointing’ and began to explain why, only to have the owner come out and start arguing that their staff are polite and hard working and completely missing the issue. Telling us there wasn’t a problem when there clearly was.

To emphasise the point, the very next customer wanted a refund after he and his son got bored of waiting over 25 mins for 2 teas they’d ordered - he seems to think he was forgotten about.

Not surprising that the staff behave this way when the owner won’t listen to any feedback, even when they’re the ones asking for feedback!

I’ll be thinking about whether to come back here again. It’s a shame as always enjoyed riding my bike down...

I don’t normally leave reviews but when I looked at this place online I saw it had a couple of negative ones so wanted to share my experience. I went on a Sunday lunch time. Served and seated straight away. Every single member of staff was very sweet with our little baby and made time to interact with her. She got fussed over and offered toys to play with and they absolutely wouldn’t accept my offer to clean up her scrambled egg mess all over the floor! The food was incredible. I had a veggie breakfast wrap, and it loved every bite. It was so filling and cooked perfectly. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast as well. We then treated ourselves to gelato milkshakes to take away which were also very yummy. I have no doubt we will become regular customers. Very,...
