My local park. Well kept and well used by the community. Mostly tidy and mostly free of undesirables. Well resourced and self contained playground for the kids, tennis courts, football pitch, basketball hoops and bandstand (I think!) Good size, takes about 15 minutes to walk round. Lots of undergrowth for dogs and squirrels to furtle in. Amazing selection of trees, apart from the anorexic/anaemic looking Christmas tree! Disabled access is good though the paths are a bit bumpy/gritty in places. Only real complaint is the unfinished bmx track and that the bins need emptying more frequently this...
Read moreI love this park! With a basketball court, tennis courts, children’s playground, a running route, and lots of open green space for dog walkers it’s a fab place to experience the outdoors. I love the sorry looking Christmas Tree that maybe one year will perk up and the continual improvements to the space. It also hosts a great Halloween Firework display and fun fairs and community events...
Read moreCringle park is lovely. I walk my dogs here, as do many others. There's also a separate kids' area which has a little fence around it for safety. There are plenty of places to set up a picnic if the weather's good and there's a path for joggers or walkers with distance measurement signs. It's a great little park. My dogs think it's the best place...
