After having a busy morning overseeing a mobilisation, it was time for a well deserved breakfast and we came upon this spot by chance. Not exactly your typical cafe look but that’s not important. Plus I was enjoying the retro 80s music playing in the background. Serving Irish breakfasts plus a bar with Guinness on tap, this place turned out to be a hidden gem. Myself ordering Builder’s Breakfast with no changes, plus a mocha to wash it down with. 2x Irish sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, black pudding and white pudding, fried egg, beans, potato farl and toast. The breakfast was delicious and while we were the first people in there, it quickly filled up like a little social club. Clearly the locals love it here and plan their meetings here and we could see why. Good value, decent portions and friendly attentive staff. Breakfast is served until 1/2pm depending on the day and there’s a lunch menu offering loaded chips, toasties and other dishes. Certainly worth the random visit.

Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Good egg very orange yolk which is usually a sign of quality. Down side very greesey mushrooms though, would recommend dry frying then adding butter after 5 mins or so tasted like they'd been fried in a gallon of oil. I get butter is expensive but gives a nicer taste. Decent sausage and bacon, bacon was probably hot held a little long as was quite dry. A very good fry up all in all though.

A frequent traveler to the Republic of Ireland, the coffee takes me back there, dunno what coffee it is that they use but it's definetly the same as whatever they have in Ireland, and the Chicken fillet roll is the best I've had. Family friendly, my small kids are very welcomed here which is a bonus.

We came to Bia for brunch after hearing good things about it. We really wanted to like it! However, the service was poor. The food was overly greasy. No one came to ask how our food was after it came. The worst thing though - and it might seem a small thing but the coffees are around £3.50 - I ordered a cortado from the menu. The coffee arrived as a flat white. I asked for another and it arrived exactly the same! I then ordered a macchiato and it was also a full cup of flat white - this was after I’d asked for much less milk. It’d be better not to offer a full range of coffees if the servers don’t know how to make them. Nice selection of toys for kids. Toilets...

I attend a monthly book club here, and the staff are always very pleasant and accommodating. There's a lovely homely feel to the place which also makes for a cosy atmosphere for our group. Not had any food here yet but I did have a hot chocolate the last time I was in and it was delicious ☕☺️. A little gem in the heart of Levenshulme, not just great for the Irish expats but all the community. I hope to check out one of the Sunday...
