This is a designated observation area within the 'Runway Visitor Park'. There is free access on foot. If you are coming by car, access is £5 for up to 2 hours, £10 for 2-4 hours, and 4 hours+ is £12. This is correct at the time of writing (August 2025). Upon entering the car park, a machine provides you with a token similar in size to a poker chip. Whilst there was no signage on entering the car park, nor around the car park or visitor park itself, I noticed at the manned exit booth the sign stated there would be a £12 charge levvied for lost parking tokens. So please keep yours safe! As this page is reviews specifically for the runway viewing platform only, I would read these reviews in conjunction with those for the visitor park itself as you may find more useful reviews there. Not always possible to get a pic without fence hiding the wheels with a simple equipment but for Aviation enthusiasts it's an awesome spot! I've seen a Concorde for the first time in my life. Never been a fan, but seeing the grounded supersonic plane still is impressive, even for me. There are also many attractions for children. Boarding the RJX (BAE-146) is free and pretty interesting too! Café is nice and drinks and food aren't expensive. I'll come...
