A great sandpit area and water play area (pumps, aqueducts, channels, sluices etc)

Do note height restrictions are strictly enforced so DO MEASURE your children beforehand to save embarrassment and awkward situations.

Very reasonably priced teas and coffees. Alcohol is pricey (£4.50 for a pint of Heineken) but isn't the place to drink alcohol really IMHO. Leave that for the holiday cottage! :-)

Food areas selling South American AKA Tex-Mex Burritos, tacos etc and a burger stall. We didn't try as we were strictly self-catering and cooking own but looked okay and I can see other reviews are positive about the food.

We also saw the Starichtects show in the Cloud Theatre which was AMAZING and well worth the £8 each. The show lasts about an hour. The show starts about 30 minutes after the doors open. The calibre of the cast is astounding with great effects. The interaction of the digital artefacts on the screen and the cast and how the cast move through the screen is fantastic. A really really clever approach. The acrobatic skills of the cast should also be fully recognised.

Stupendous show - really...

Lovely covered play areas including a sand area, water play area and more generic play area aimed at younger children and toddlers but hard to judge fully as food places were shut throughout our stay save for bar, coffee bar and waffle hut. Event space was also closed during our stay save for one night we did not attend. Our kids loved the play areas though.

The pedal kart thing was a bit of a rip off to be honest and my son got bored of essentially waiting 40 minutes to drive up and down a long ramp twice, despite the best efforts of the staff to mix it up and we left before doing it again for...

The Serendome is a great space for all. It's bright, airy, open and spacious. Inside you'll find a guest service, their own build a bear, hair braiding, food stalls (street food area, crepes and Welsh cakes) garden shed for warm drinks, ice-cream and snakes and a bar too serving soft and alcoholic drinks. Toilets too Big theatre area showing different events based on bluestones event that week - when we went it was the winter trail. I know before they've done pirates and Christmas. Activities inside are sky walk (have to pay for) and activities...

We love the Serendome! Great space which is covered from the elements but still gives the aspect of being outdoors. Great activities to do within the Serendome with sandplay, waterplay and the playground. We ate a picnic in the seated area by the terraces and found it clean and comfortable. My daughter also took part in the Mini Sky Walk for the second time and thoroughly enjoyed. The instructors were so helpful to my daughter. We also visited Mr Wonders Silly Circus in the Cloud theatre and loved the show! Looking forward to visiting again soon!
