I have reviewed this amazing day out spot at Surrey hills before. Still my opinion doesn't change as everytime we visit this place , always it is been amazing.

Whereever you walk at whatever time of day, your mind will be refreshed and feels peaceful - many of my friends shared same feeling of Wales when they look at the valley for sometime.

The drive to top hill itself is full of cool views and hairpin off road feel. If you love nature, this is the right place for you.

The parking is with ample space ; actually there is 3-4 car park areas on the drive. If you find nearest one is full (Well, if it is a sunny weekend eve, it can be expected 😊) , keep on driving - you will reach other car parks on the way. Parking slots are paid and you can use mobile apps to pay with your reg. It costs approximately £1.20-£2/hr as far as I could recollect.

There is an ice cream van parked and selling at main car park most of these summer days. And then the only shop or restaurant available in hills is Smith & Western American grills - for your kind info, you better book the seats prior to visit if you would like to have a dine out there; very very busy place.

The meadows are marvellous to have strolls and for a quick short nap (if the infamous unpredictable weather of Brit would be kind enough 😜😜) . BBQs are not allowed it seems, but you can have own picnic and waste bins are a bit far away though.

Sunsets and evening breeze makes it well cool and posh. The rail lines at valley and lights turning on at houses at hills opposite you will grant you a feel of dejavu sometimes - of course , you feel like you are living in a movie👏.

If you have something in you as artistic, you should not miss this place. And if you have...

Amazing view of Surrey and very easily accessible and ideal for picnics, dog walks, and biking. Abundant Car Parks nearby. The actual viewpoint is more or less 5mins walk from the car parks. Parking fees are reasonable from £1.70 (1hr) to £4.20 (4hrs) via parking app as the pay machines are closed due to Covid19 lockdown. Toilets, shop, and nearby cafes are closed due to lockdown. Map is available on the National Trust shop grounds with walking trail details. Be sure to wear proper footwear if embarking on walking trails, even though footpaths are easily accessible, terrain is uneven with high chance of mud on a rainy day.

Most people come for the viewpoint and the steppingstones. The path down the steppingstones are steep but laid out with steps like stairs. If you come for an easy and laidback walk, it's better to just drive down to the Stepping Stones where there is parking nearby and vise versa from Stepping Stones to View Point, both up and down hill journey is tedious if...

Perfect place for relaxing and unwind. We had a great day until at the end when we found our car broke in. Window smashed and bags were gone. People working there were very helpful and they did everything they could. Kinda our fault for leaving the bags there in plain sight but we never thought of that seeing the parking lot full of people and cars. It felt safe too. Any way, except the id and the fact that we had to drive without a window on highway on 9 degrees outside, nothing to bad. The place is still one of my favourite and I will still be going there 😅 . DO NOT FORGET YOUR...

This place is stunning and has such beautiful views that I would recommend it as a nice couple date or family outing. There are hiking trails and also snippets of history as you wander up and down the hill. I would recommend wearing trainers of some sort if you're here to explore. There is a souvenir store and a simple place to eat food alongside a lovely ice cream stand where the young man working there will give really great portion sizes for the cheap price! All in all it is a great location, the only downside is the huge crowds and queues. Even when hiking you have to walk passed many people.
