Lovely little cove with a lot of interesting things to explore within a very short distance, in other words this is a great place for a wobbly wander off season.

The car park is quite a distance from the harbour, but if you have a blue badge it is possible to park on the double yellow lines opposite the cafe of season and access this lovely little fishing village.

There are also some apartments to rent right on the harbour all of which have dedicated parking.

The views are stunning, lots of caves to explore from a kayak or paddle board and plenty of places to sit and rest. The road surface is cobbles so I did have to concentrate and look down while walking but my sticks helped me balance and whenever I stopped and looked up I couldn't help but smile at the new perspectives.

The water is crystal clear and on a previous visit I experienced a storm with waves crashing and impressive skies. We'll definitely be returning to do more as I couldn't see everything this place had to offer even in two visits😁

What a beautiful place. My children and I scaled the dark tunnel/cave through to a rocky 'beach'which was brilliant. It took some doing and you need to be confident but it's great as it leads you to rock pools and another view. The harbour is nice and a great place for crabbing. We stood on some steps to do this and the children loved it. There's a little cafƩ and a small shop on the way down to buy bait and other bits and bobs. There are toilets there too although I didn't use these so can't comment on the cleanliness. The coastal path to the right is closed off but there is an alternative route which is a really nice walk. Steep and tricky in places but the whole area is like this so should be expected. I stayed nearby so popped down there at sunset one evening and stayed until dusk which was really calming. You won't spend the day here, far from it, but it's...

Beautiful place to visit. Isolated but possibly better that way. If you have young family or elderly / disabled, if you can drive towards the bottom & drop them off before heading back up to the car park.

There are public toilets on route down half way between the car park & the cafe as well if needed.

We did a bit of crabbing with the kids while we caught up with family members. Took a quick look over the wall to some beautiful views of the waves crashing against the rocks.

We went down onto the small beach to skim some pebbles & then ventured up to the cafe for some refreshments before we headed back off. There are also some other beaches a little further up that we didn't make it to but would probably go on another visit.

Parking was free & you could easily bring...
