Read more1/5 – The Manager Looked Through Me Like I Wasn’t There
This should have been a meaningful cultural visit. Instead, it was humiliating, thanks to the openly hostile behavior of Patricia, the manager. I asked for help as a wheelchair user looking for the restroom — but I was interrupted mid-sentence by Patricia answering a phone call, walking away as if my words didn’t matter. As if I didn’t matter.
I waited, hoping it was an emergency call. It wasn’t. When I tried again, she dismissed me without a word and turned to a young male visitor behind me, practically glowing with fake charm and flirtatiousness. She walked away with disgust looking down at me like I was a stain on the floor.

Accessibility is not optional. Compassion is not negotiable. And Patricia’s conduct should be a warning to every disabled visitor considering stepping foot...
Read moreThis review is specifically for the cafe. We have always enjoyed the cafe at St Patrick's Centre, but over the last few months things have gone downhill.
While the food is lovely, the service is becoming terrible. The last four times we have been (on quiet days and there are only 2 of us ordering a simple meal)... things have been wrong every time!
These included ordering a vegan option and it arriving with a fried egg on top. Ordering a cheese and tomato panini and receiving ham and cheese (not good for a vegetarian), receiving completely the wrong item all together.
As I said, these were at times when it was quiet and there was no queue so the staff were not overwhelmed.
We have decided not to go back there, despite the food being excellent (when we finally get the right thing), it's not worth it for the hassle. Especially when dealing with dietery requirements such as a vegan or vegetarian meal being made with meat!
The odd error is one thing but every time......
