We visited to see The Snowman Exhibition, with our granddaughter which we all loved. We even took the time to view the other exhibits around the museum, which were very interesting. There is also a lot of interact pieces dotted around which helped to hold our grandchilds interest throughout. Well worth the visit and is a great afternoon out, will definitely be back. The museum is free but has a donation box, which we contributed too. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and gave so much attention to our young granddaughter. Its also has a small cafe, good accessibility with lifts and toilets which were...

An interesting and fun day out for grown ups and children alike in a lovely modern and well maintained space. There is lots to see and lots to do, many pull out and interactive activities to keep curious little fingers happy. All the staff are very friendly and attentive, taking their time to come over and give us information about many different pieces on display. The cafe has a great choice of salads, breakfasts and cakes as well as a children's menu, all of which is well priced. We are very impressed indeed and look forward to...

Today I learned more about the suffragette movement, early motor traditions and finger printing roots here, My favourite Artifacts were the 1960 GB Olympic shirt, Bert Trautman's neck brace and the beautiful cup of tea the lady served in the cafe so nicely. I needed this stop in the middle of a long cycle. The art work too was great and a victorian period pram I believe. Please stop for half an hour here and donate a few pounds to help with the up-keep of a well maintained museum. Thank you all for...

Well worth a visit! We are very glad to see the Samuel Lucas and a Windrush exhibition and everything else at this museum. Highly recommend a few hours here. Beautifully curated and nice staff at the welcome desk and in the cafe.
