Came here for a coffee and a toastie on a sunny day so we were able to sit outside. Indoors was decorated really nicely, this cafe is a beautiful calm space. Outdoors was perfect for people watching on the Hitchin high street. All of the crockery is yellow- they have a nice yellow theme running throughout which is pleasing to the eye. The food all looked great. I really enjoyed my kimchi and cheese tkastie and a cortado. Service was good, never felt rushed and they brought everything in good time and it was attentive service. Staff just didn't seem massively happy, it would have been nice to have been greeted with a smile is the only thing I'd say is missing from this place.

Simple, clean, yet welcoming.
They have a great selection of cakes and desserts. Great food, the grilled sandwich is prob the best I've had yet! And they do amazing coffee!!!

Read moreUnwelcoming staff we have ever come across. The cake one of us had was so dry like sawdust and the coffee was bitter and you could feel the grounds as you sipped it. We left the cake and coffee and the staff did not even acknowledge that nothing was eaten or drunk or even ask if all was ok. Wasted £15.00!!! Highly recommend looking some where else. As a believer in supporting small businesses it goes against this review but the fact the staff did not care, says it all. V disappointed...
