A cool collection of local history from bronze age implements to photos of the town over the last century. I particularly enjoyed seeing the still functioning printing press that used to print the local paper. 200 years old! It would be nice if more artifacts came with info about where in town they were found etc.

A nice little museum that details the history of Royston and how it came to be. Entry is free and what there is to see is all informative and will make you appreciate the town even more, from it's humble beginnings to its place today. Combine it for when you visit the nearby Cave.

Absolutely superb curation and access to exhibits. Excellent 'Back to School': Royston schooling 1900 - 2000

Imagine employing a curator who publishes means of defacing historical artefacts beyond repair on social media.

Reckless behaviour from a privileged, irresponsible philistine who has no respect for the warts and all nature of history. Madelene Odent is using her position to forward her own political motives, dragging the reputation of this museum through the mire in the process.

I doubt it will take long before group book burning sessions are next on...

This is a tiny local museum in a small historic town that clearly has an active local history society. It is just a little slice of local history, quite old fashioned really. It is also a useful point to get info about royston cave which is one of those very odd places with no agreed explanation It is man made with many strange ambiguous carvings (there is a...

Superb museum tainted by a curator who allows her brain to act upon emotional rather than logical sense. In fact, I don't know how one can hold a position of curator of a museum, but call for destruction of history?! Perhaps somebody might not agree with the political implications of the museums artifacts, but that would not merit a call for their...
