We booked a table here for 19:30, and arrived on time, but there was seemly some confusion on the table. That's not to say we weren't seated, we were seated upsairs, away from any of the other guests. The staff were very attentive, despite our table being seperated from the rest.
I, among two others, ordered the Lamb Biryani which was okay. The reviews on our table for all the food were mixed but mostly somewhat disappointed. This is fine, I didn't think it was really bad, but possibly it was just a subjective thing. Though, I would say it's overpriced for the quality. The portion sizes were also quite large (at least for the Biryani and the Bunny Chow; for the Butter Chicken and Rarra Gosht, the portions were quite small).
The issues came when the wait staff took our dishes, and noted that all the Biryani meals were not finished. The staff member who took our dishes asked one of our party quite thoroughly why they didn't like it, and then also asked the rest of us the same. This, to me, seems unnecessary.
They initially offered to compensate us by giving us another menu item for free, which we declined.
This was then followed by another staff member asking us again why we didn't like the dish for a few minutes and then she offered us complimentary dessert which she insisted on for quite a while before she accepted our refusal. However, they did take all three Biryanis off the price at the end, which was nice.
The only other issue I had was that the Ginger Beer was being sold under the "Mocktail" section when it just out of a bottle, so it should be in the "Soft Drinks".
Note: the Naan...

We ordered the chicken roll and the lamb burger, and both were absolutely delicious. The dishes showcased traditional, authentic Indian flavors with a modern twist. The chutney served with the chicken roll was outstanding, and you could tell everything was made fresh. The lamb patty, in particular, was a standout—it's rare to find such freshness and quality in a restaurant these days!
The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, taking the time to chat and even offering to prepare items from the breakfast menu if we preferred it over the lunch options. The space itself was spotless and inviting.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for elevated Indian cuisine in a...
Read moreHad an incredible lunch here recently. The food was so full of flavour and very generously portioned. My partner had the paneer wrap and I had the bunny chow. Had never heard of a bunny chow before but loved the idea (curry served in a loaf of sourdough) and the fact they gave some extra curry on the side, most appreciated! I really like the menu, it’s a fresh take on Indian food and a lot of dishes inspired by Indian cuisine, will have to come back soon to try out the rest of the menu.
We also had iced coffees which were very good and gulab jamun (syrup soaked doughnuts) which was a great end to the meal.
The service as well was lovely, staff were very attentive and friendly. Couldn’t recommend the restaurant...
