Danby Wood — Attraction in Norwich

There are already too many people destroying Danby Park and surrounding areas. They leave their picnic bbq and litter along with their Dog's poo everywhere. Their Dog's have worn channels into the riverbank, which have had to be temporarily blocked. The place is ruined compared to before lockdown. From May, there will also be Cow pats everywhere, including on the paths. Last year, there were several Cows injured due to irresponsible Dog owners letting the Dogs bite the Cows and chase them. It's a great park, lots of area for ball throwing for dogs. Has a nice little play are for younger kids...and most importantly for me a huge play area called the woods. I love running up and down the hills and find new routes to navigate the sometimes very steep drops. Also nice to just walk through...unless it's been raining, then rather muddy. Sides onto a golf course so can watch a few shots if that's your thing, and if you keep your eyes peeled, can often find some wayward...

if you follow the secret signs of spay arrows you can find the chalk mine entrance. its a great explore and will take a good hour to walk round all the tunnels. creepy little shrines, graffiti from hundreds of years ago, plenty of scares. take litter and glow sticks home after! you need good torches and tell someone you trust before you go down there just in case you...
