First of all, this beach is not far from the main road, but narrow and twisty in places, be prepared to reverse if something is coming the other way. This beach is a short walk from the paid car park, think it was £4, at this time (April 2019) past a lovely beach cafe. The beach is accessible via steep steps with a rail, directly in front of you, or a ramp to the right, if you have wheelchairs, mostly sandy beach, with a few rocks, so not too bad underfoot. There are local toilets which are no longer managed by the council but locals, they ask for donations to keep the toilets open and in use, please ensure you donate to keep these in situ otherwise there will be no local convenience. Bring cash, although cafe accept card for food etc, no cash back, as they can't hold enough. Perranuthnoe, the village is sweet and traditional, a good pub, road side sales, craft studios and small artisan businesses to explore.
