This is more than a cafe. It offers superb freshly prepared, quality food. We popped by for lunch - just a couple of sandwiches. I require a gluten free diet and the options here are marvellous. The staff understand my requirements and are very helpful. Our sandwiches were amazing - I had gf bacon n brie. My OH had the ham and piccalilli. These were super sized sandwiches, a robust meal after our coastal walk. We followed up with icecreams, including a special doggy icecream for our four legged companion. We often return here. With excellent customer service and superb food who wouldn't. The menu offers a wide range of vegetarian, vegan and gf. Meals, sandwiches and cakes. There is some internal seating but most is outside in their garden with excellent views. A small carpark is available. A little Cornish treasure tucked away in a delightful...

A massive drinks menu, a limited lunch menu and a good breakfast menu. The food is very good, especially loved the granary bread. Potions good size and staff are helpful and polite.

It was quiet when we arrived (early March) so was surprise to be declined all the full breakfast options at 11.40am / but menu does say breakfast stops at 11.30am. Even a bacon roll caused issues, yet bacon and brie was available for lunch. Then 30 minutes later one of party arrived and ordered sausage, egg and bacon on bread. Can understand the places that stop breakfast orders to focus on lunch, but lunch options here are limited. Seemed excessively rigid to not do all day breakfast when lunch options limited.

Will try Cabin next time if not in time for breakfast as more...

My husband and I just walked over to the Peppercorn... I had the best beef goulash I have ever had in my life and my husband ordered the Full Breakfast. Mine came with gorgeous grain bread and a great bit of sour cream to add to the bowl. The meat was so tender I cut it with the spoon. My husband's breakfast sausage was thick and crisp, the eggs on toasted brown grain bread were perfect. Even the mushroom was oversized and cooked to perfection! The owners, who we found out were new, were gracious, talked with us and we even shared restaurant recommendations! Bell, their 14 mo old pup was friendly and very well behaved. What a wonderful find! We will be back! Thank you for the best meal we have had yet in...

❤ stumbled upon this treasure and spent 3 days going back for the coffee, cakes and incredible food. The soups are delicious (3 choices 😊)had a seafood gratin with prawns and scallops which was incredible with greens cooked to perfection alongside. Then beef provençal with olives, big portion, and just wow. Had the amazing banana cake, the coffee cake and the orange cake, all gorgeous. They have a great barista to make the perfect coffees. And finally the staff....professional and friendly and hard working. What a find. Well done to The Peppercorn Cafe.

Always wonderful! Just inland, about 500 metres up from the beach The Peppercorn Cafe serves amazing food, probably the best in Cornwall! Indoor and outdoor seating and lovely staff. Today we ate Beetroot Falafel with flatbread & salad (vg) and Grilled Cod served on king prawn laksa noodles - absolutely delicious. We prefer the sheltered situation and will forgo the beach view for the delicious culinary wonders that the Peppercorn Cafe produce - ooh and Roskilly's ice cream...

This is the best cafe I have ever been to. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. I had the squid and king prawns. The children tried the squid and thought it was the best thing they had ever eaten. Great choice of things to eat. The courgette, lime and pistachio cake was amazing. Would highly recommend.
