The park has some open areas and some wooded areas. Unfortunatly some inconsiderate people had left their pets mess in various places which slightly ruins the experience, as well as the fact that there must be an event being run soon as there were big yellow signs up all over the place advising of restricted access or to be careful etc.! For a slightly longer walk you can loop out of the park to the river and back in again. For the younger kids there is also a play area near the entrance, nd those that have bikes there is also a pump track area. If your unfortunate for the wind going the wrong way then the start of your walk might be a little whiffy from the sewage treatment next to the park (as it was on our visit!)

Very nice for walking dogs off the lead. It gets very muddy when wet so be prepared for wet dogs and muddy boots. A lot of people don't bother to clean up after there dogs which is sad but there is not many dog poo bins which the council should look at

What a wonderful bonfire night and firework display show! Would highly recommend going so worth the trip! We traveled from Blackburn and would return!

This is a great park with a lot of different things to do. There is a park and ride car park, which is free to use when using the parks facilities. There are two well designed pump tracks, for people who like to ride up and down bumps, around burns, and up small hills. Both are well used and hand has some recent additions. There is also a playground, and a very large climbing rock, which is great fun. Plenty of great bike paths as well.

The pump track was updated again with more paths. Deff the best pump...

Great park, with plenty of open space for dogs to play, and people to walk in the various wooded conservation areas which surround the park. Access to the Rive Ouse flood plains (Clifton Ings area) is also good, as there are a couple of footpaths. In the park there is also a well kept child's play area with a large rock climbing/play feature. At the edge of the park is pump track for cycles, which they are currently expanding, and nearly doubling in size as well as increasing...
