Terrible!. First of all, me and my friend went for my birthday expecting an amazing day but no. Took a while to get actually in, we got told after a long travel we had to “book online” or we can’t go in. And even if my dad rang up we couldn’t go in still he would have to come in, which is extremely fussy🙄 My dad then rang in and about 15-20 mins we could FINALLY go in, it was £25 for 2 kids! This point we got told we could go to the next session or go in now for an hour, we then went to get a locker, the lockers were very small and could fit barley anything in it, and even using extra lockers none of them would work so how on earth do you expect us to use more, yes they was free so that wasn’t a problem but the main problem was my friend went to reception they told us to read the posters, they did not actually help becuase none of the lockers would work even though they was open, although we finally found one that worked. Then we had to watch a safety video which should help. At this point it was half of the first session so we would obviously think that we would have a hour from that point because we did not get told that we would have under, we got told we would have a whole hour! When we entered the trampolines we both saw this young child coming of the trampolines crying and holding his arm as if he’d hurt it, there was no staff with him just staff near the air bag and round trampolines at back, the thing about this is there was no supervision and i think staff should make sure children are more safe when on the trampolines. If you did get reported you wouldn’t exactly publish it would you, becuase it would make you look bad becuase your staff were to busy in the trampolines themself! there was about 4 members of staff around on the trampolines.. At 1.58 we got told to leave the trampolines as it was “ end of the session” which was us on the trampolines for 28 minutes when we payed for a hour! which £25 for that long is a complete rip off, and is definitely unfair, we went to reception and my dad also rang up nothing happened no money gave back or time on the trampolines which we should have had. When my dad rang up they said i apparently said “i did not want to wait” which i did never say and i would not waste that amount of money on 28 mins! Lastly, the ladies toilets were not very clean, toilet roll was all over the floor. I’ve also been told it’s messy bc it is busy on saturdays well if it’s so busy then maybe clean it more often that might help, as customers should not have to use filthy toilets, I hope something will be sorted bc it’s pathetic. So i do not recommend people going...
Read moreIt was a cold and rainy day so took the kids here to burn off some energy.
Firstly, the pricing... strange...
I booked online as I'd heard it was cheaper and it was, £9.85 per child so it isn't cheap, but if you don't book online its £12.55 per child. Not sure why they do it that way as you still have to queue, still get to a till but instead of them taking your money, they just tick your name off a list.
Secondly, you can only wear their socks, so there's another few quid. Luckily, my 2 already had the socks from a party they'd been to some time before so I didn't have to buy their overpriced garments.
It says get there 20 minutes early so you can watch the safety video, this didn't actually start until 1 minute before so by the time they'd watched it, they were in to their "jump" time. However, the safety video was very good.
In the session before ours, the drops to the airbag was open, but during our session, they closed it. Not because anything was broken, but because the staff member watching it would rather spend time laughing and joking with his colleague and told people it was closed. When I questioned him about it, he didn't even bother to make up a reason, he just looked sheepish and walked off behind the other trampolines out of the way.
The jump arena itself is actually very good, the place is clean and has a party like atmosphere and it's great to see kids and adults enjoying themselves.
The cafe, whilst a little overpriced, was good with a great view over the arena. Screens would be nice so you could see the back of the arena and keep an eye on the kids.
All in all, aside from a few niggles, the place...
Read moreDaughter had her birthday here in November, due to allergies of my daughter and another child and another child with ARFID we had a call less than a week before to confirm all, however on the day they had the dairy allergy down as an egg allergy luckily this was corrected before food was prepared and given , and for the child that travelled almost 2 hours to be there who had ARFID was not catered too although said he would be and he had to sit and watch all other children eat and he had nothing was highly dissapointed, the staff member kept shouting out about the ARFID infront of the general public which wasn't nice for him and singled him out even more this is not ok , never once an apology or a care given, I emailed once home quite a long email and got a couple of lines replied still no apology they just said we havnt come across this before and never had a problem with catering for children before, which isn't helpful because you made mistakes and never apologise and as for mixing up an allergy could have been very dangerous for that child. FLIPOUT staff need more training and understanding in these circumstances. My daughter had a great time but for rudeness a child that was payed to be fed and wasnt and the dangerous allergy mix up and lack of care I wouldn't have a party here again
They did offer a free bounce for the child in question but unfortunately this wasn't helpful due to living 2 hours away and after the reasoning above that childs parent is never returning, it was a belittling experience for all and wanted nothing more than acknowledgement of there failures and an apology that wasn't recieved on the day...
