There seems to be a lot written about segways, but seing as we are a pretty dab hand at riding segways, we decided to go for something a little different, and we chose archery. I arrived with my two sons, one who is 19 and the other who is 20.

We were greeted very warmly by a lady on the front desk who gave us disclaimers to read and sign and we did this in the comfort of the small, but very comfortable cafe. As soon as we had finished this our instructor arrived on time, and took us over to the archery site. The instructor was very knowledgable (sorry I have forgotten his name), very chatty and could obviously tell that we are all very competitive, so as soon as the safety briefing was out of the way, our instructor arranged a rather good hour of competitive archery, which we all really enjoyed. During our time it was actually raining quite hard, but we did not mind this, and neither did the instructor, so we carried on.

In all a really good competitive hour of archery which everyone enjoyed, and rain, hail or snow I would certainly...

We had a fantastic time in our wee river bed. The basket breakfast was the most delightful touch and a highlight of our morning. The homemade baked goods were soft, fluffy, and scrumptious down to the last bite! It was so exciting to wake up and open the basket as if it were a gift to unwrap. The accommodations were a fun escape from traditional style lodging. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They assisted with our needs swiftly and with a smile. The private hot tub was the perfect way to unwind from a busy day, providing rest and relaxation with euphonious sounds from the babbling brook and birds. We enjoyed our activity day with the E-bikes, archery, and laser “clay pigeon” shooting. Chris was an excellent instructor who felt more like a friend during our two hour time slot. He provided us with history and information about the land and Scotland itself, and recommended places to go for dinner and sights to see. We were sad our time had come to an end but would, without a doubt, come back again to the beautiful surroundings of...

We were on a family holiday for 2 weeks staying in fort william and whilest checking out the local area for things to do we stumbled accross this little Gem. They have loads of great family activities to do and on this day we decided to go segway with a guy called Chris. He was fantastic he took me and my 3 teenage boys through a detailed safty brief before we started and issued us safety kit. We started off on a beginner route for a short while trying to master the segway my kids picked it up almost immediately but i took a little longer then once he saw we were all confident he took us off into the country side for an exciting ride that included tracks and a bit off road to we had a fantastic time. We also visited again a few days later and took out some E Bikes equaly as good fun but you dont have an instructor with you you have a time to return the bikes but you are free to go off explore anywhere you fancy going.

Thankyou everyone at Woodlands for a great family experience and especialy Chris as we all loved the...

Hired an e-bike (mountain bike) from Woodlands of Glencoe. Never thought I would have fun on an e-bike, I always thought they were a gimmick and not a real bike. I was wrong. Wouldn’t have been able to make it up the mountains in the Glen Coe area on a regular mountain bike. The e-bike allowed me to tour on steeper trails and over longer distances than I would’ve otherwise been able to do on a regular bike. Woodlands, is Ideally located, at the base of many different bike paths that take you up to the mountains in the Glen Coe region. Chris and Devon who run the bike shop at Woodlands got me all set up and gave me a wonderful itinerary and map of places to go. If you want to see the mountains, get out of the car and get onto a bike. Highly recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Chris! He represents the property and the area extremely well, with Scottish pride! From Segway orientation, to a successful tour of the Woodlands grounds! While a slight bobble while turning too fast, going down hill, no worse for the experience! Got right back on and continued the adventure! Next, channeling our inner Hunger Games heroine, we tried archery. Most arrows from our quiver, made it to the targets. A few may have missed the mark! But Chris was never our target, nor did we harm him! Kudos to Chris for a great afternoon of activities and tips for our journey to Loch Lomond tomorrow 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Wonderful time on the bikes! We had a slight mishap with my daughter. She was checking out a waterfall and road off the trail and ended up skinning her knee and hand. We were 13 miles away and Sarah arranged a quick ride back so my daughter did not have to ride back with a sore knee. She is fine btw, slight mishap by not paying attention. Sarah sent Cullen to the rescue along with another gentlemen. They loaded all 3 bikes in the van and Cullen drove us back in his personal car. Talk about service and genuine care for the customer! I am forever grateful and look forward to a return journey!
