We visited the distillery after reading good reviews only to find that despite it being listed as open was actually not open and required us to book on line to attend a tasting. We then booked online for a tour and tasting. However due to family illness we had to change our travel plans and sent an email to the contact provided over 24 hours before to cancel and requested a refund. We never received any reply. We did receive another email requesting feedback for the tour to which I replied that we didn’t attend and had cancelled with no reply. We have subsequently received no reply to sny correspondence let alone any update regarding a refund for cancelling over 24 hours prior to the scheduled appt. Had a fantastic gin tour and tasting with Craig today. Started by taking us through the distilling, bottling, and school rooms while explaining the distilling and bottling processes. Then we had a lovely tasting in the hotel lounge with accompanying tonics and garnishes that made us simply fall in love with these gins. Craig also packed up the most beautiful takeaway tasting for my husband (who was driving) with a bottle of each of the tonics we used in the tasting! He’ll get to have the same experience at home (without garnishes). Which is just fantastic!

We would love to return for the gin or rum school in future trip. Craig was lovely and we are SO in love with the story and ethics behind both the hotel/distillery brands and the botanical selection...

My wife and I did the online distillery tour and gin tasting. I could not recommend it enough. We arranged it for 8pm on a Friday which Craig, our guide, was more than happy to accommodate. Not knowing what to expect when we logged into zoom, we ended up having a fascinating and informative tour of the small distillery, learning of the origins of Pixel Gin, their process and even a bit of local history. We then went onto a tasting, with the 2 gins, tonic and garnishes that had been sent through. The gin was very nice indeed and the points for tasting and pairing have been great in our gin journey.
