Nice play Park to keep the kids occupied, also has tennis courts and a bowling green. The bowling green looked like it needed some tlc last time I was there but we are heading into winter so maybe it's left over the winter months. There are several football grass Pitches of various sizes which are popular with local football teams of all ages. The pathways are well used by joggers and dog walkers and the occasional cyclist. Adjacent to the park is the campus for Barrhead high school where football teams use changing facilities and there is a large AstroTurf pitch right in front of a handy parking area for the park...

There are lots of free facilities for all to use including tennis courts, a running track and football pitches, picnic options The only issue is the park gets really water logged during heavy rain. The council should invest in better drainage.
The kiddie play park is of a good the standard and lots of options. Dog friendly. Adequate parking. There is a community cafe and bike repair shop. The cafe has good options and the staff are lovely....
