Discovered Baynes when I was visiting Dundee and therefore delighted to find the company had opened in the Glasgow area. Alas, having visited the Barrhead branch on several occasions, they do not appear to receive enough stock from their head office to enable the staff to fulfil the customers orders. Always a small steak pie, but with distinctly differing results. 1st time (opening day I think) the pie was cold and fatty - not nice at all. Had to throw it away. 2nd visit was much more like what I'm used to. 3rd visit, this week, the pie was cold although the.meat was okay to eat. I am somewhat disappointed with this state of affairs and can't quite understand what is...
