Gourock Park — Attraction in Scotland

Great place to take the kids & let them run off some of their sugar high. Lucky to have this great free place on our doorstep.

As always some people ruin it for others by throwing dog poo bags into the bushes/undergrowth, but that’s not the fault of the park. It’s the fault of their parents, dragging them up.

What is with people who do that? Is it that they want to look responsible when there are other people around but then don’t care about responsibility when it comes to the next step in the process of finding a bin.

Do you need to sit a test before getting a dog? I don’t have a dog so I’m not sure of the process but I’m thinking the test needs to be made harder so poo bag throwing eejits...

Lovely park, even in the rain. Interesting pets corner. Looked a little tired, but animals looked ok, and cages were clean. The glass was a bit difficult to see through clearly. Maybe it would be better on a sunny day. Playpark kept our three year old happy. Well kept lawns...

Don't know the park well. I sometimes park here to have lunch. On a clear day it's worth it for the view. Uninterrupted, out over the water to the hills beyond. Seems to be popular with dog walkers. There is also a bowling green. Nice area for a drive...
