Cardwell Inn — Restaurant in Scotland

Always great food. Fast hot and tasty. Never had a meal we didn't enjoy. We go to the area twice a year to visit relatives and always eat there at least twice. It's a friendly local that happily involves the visitors. The pub is always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. If you are lucky you can get a table overlooking the river to watch as you eat. I used to be a regular in the Cardwell many years ago and visited this week hoping that it had moved on from the 80s.
