WOW! This is a really cool "castle" (aka bothy). I came across Hermit's Castle when building my NC-500 itinerary and only a couple of websites offered 'directions' to get there. Even then, we definitely struggled finding it.
At first we were on the wrong side of the beach, but we had followed the crowd thinking that everyone was going to the castle! Nope, I'm pretty sure no one even knew it was even there. We were literally the only people even hiking on the other side of the beach and at the castle.
Our trek out to find it took longer than it did to go back, and less scrambling over rocks.
