Took the bairn there to see the ducks and they came swimming towards us and clambered out of the Loch. She loved it. Fortunately we had some sanwich bits left over so we fed all the bread and veg to the ducks. Nice short walk round the Loch and there is a good playback there as well. Coop is handy at the corner as you drive into the car park if you need a bottle of water and something to eat. Nice place in a lovely town full of very friendly people. What more can you ask for?

Sweet little Loch, surrounded by a great park for the kids. From the back of the park you can find the railway cutting down to the harbour. Also a nice wander and interesting to see the bridges, where the cut ends you can climb the Gillians steps, stroll down schoolhendry St to the harbour, then along the links road for a wander on the beach. It's an interesting village and worth investigating the lesser travelled paths.

Portsoy is a lovely little village with lots to offer. Loch Soy is small but ideal for a sunny day to walk round, feed ducks and eat ice cream from the local shop. The ducks will welcome you hopefully and the loch will give you a nice view. Seats for those who need them smooth path for those less able.

Wonderful Park with Large Pond with a decent amount of ducks and others wildlife. There is a path that right around the Loch and connects to the path that runs on the old railway line alignment. The park has 4 entrances, the main one is from the Coop car park at the north side. The other 3 are from S High St (West), A98 near Primary School (East) & Seafield Place (NW). The old station building is still survives...
