Not aware of our booking but shown staff online screen shot. 'So then we '' were put'' here then'. Carrot and coriander soup , looked but didn't taste of any carrot. No option of white bread. Brown or oatcakes only. Cheese toastie made from cheap WHITE bread but had to ask for the luxury part but crisps were not on the plate but ordered so had to ask for them. Both came out together so went cold but the soup was only a waiting tasteless bowl of orange and coriander water. The chicken fillets were done with a curried batter, no mention of this on the menu. Several lumps of ice in the vanilla Icecream. Staff were nice enough though and friendly, just wish they wud take one meal out at a time then other one...

Lovely converted church. Friendly staff. Very efficient service. Food was excellent and wine was very good. One waitress, slightly older, was extremely good but unfortunaty didn't get her name. She was attentive throughout the meal. (Visit Wednesday 23rd July) Later - visit Thursday 24th July. We came back again the next night as the meal and service on first night were so good. Sadly service was terrible. We were shown to a table but no-one offered drinks, even water. No-one took our order but took the order of a table of 4 who came in after us. We waited patiently but walked out...

What an absolute Gem!!! Visited for lunch with a friend for lunch and just wow!!! From the welcoming friendly but professional staff to the fabulous aesthetics of the building to the absolutely delicious food (we both had the Haddock Risotto which was served piping hot with fresh wonderful flavours) and the toilets and indeed whole building were spotless - very reasonably priced too. Thank you for a first class dining experience - we...

Had dinner here last night. Could not fault anything. The staff very friendly, food excellent. We were given canopies, a fishcake and a cheese pastry with chilli jam ,a delicious start . My husband and I both agreed we will definitely be back. The the batter was the best we've ever tasted . The photos are my dishes my husband had prawn cocktail and chicken fillets . Well worth a visit !

The venue is one of a kind, definitely: the old church has been restored and renovated to be transformed in a new way. The food was ok, interesting appetiser with haggis and scallops. The soup was also ok. The main course haggis with chicken was too dry for our taste. Overall we found it a bit pricey considering.

Friendly, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. First rate food ; had roast beef with all the trimmings and then some. Only disappointment I’m up here on holidays otherwise Aspire would be my go to place every Sunday for roast lunch. Will certainly be returning before we have to head home.
